With the squad we had in his final season we really should have done better than scraping 7th and that pitiful showing against Wycombe.
However he worked miracles scrapping us to safety in 2012/13. We were going down 100% under Fletcher. 2013/14 he steadied the ship after years of rot. Hope he does well at Carlisle. Been a while since he actually had a long term job rather than being bought in to keep teams up.

He was the right man at the right time for Argyle. Did a good job but the time was right for a change. It will be interesting to see how long he lasts there as he has had a tendency not to stay long at places for what ever reason. This is his sixth appointment in only three years
