Alan Nixon (respected journalist who gets most EFL deals spot on, got Conor Grant correct etc) has posted on Twitter saying both us and Hearts are interested in Lloyd Jones. I assume he'd prefer to come here given he's a Plymouth lad.

Would this suggest that the Vyner loan may be cut short?

Would be nice to get one of old academy lads back, but would be disappointed for another centre back to join.

Would be a very good signing. Can we compete with Hearts on a Financial basis,I have no idea what a club like Hearts would pay.

I wouldn’t say it was a financially based decision. More on how much game time and development he can gain whilst on loan.

He's right-footed so not a replacement for Bradley.
We don't know about Vyner and why he was feeling 'unwell' for the Oldham game.

Normally I would agree but Liverpool have said that they want him away on a permanent deal.

Ah didn’t know that.

If there’s a fee involved I wouldn’t realistically think the deal would be for us.

A nice free with a few sell on clauses would be a nice gesture thou

He's played on the left side of CB every time I've seen him play

Perhaps Sokolik is leaving and he comes in? Allowing Songo'o the chance to go in CDM

Songo’o isn’t the midfield general, composed in the ball, eye for a pass enforcer/engine we need in midfield.

He’s a brute, body on the line, foot through the ball type player for certain games.

Did you see Songo'o's cross field pass to Carey that set up the first goal and his defensive interception that started the move for our second goal?

I'm not saying that he is our in-house answer to Diagouraga but he has attributes that can benefit us.

By the way, I did also see his clumsy own goal.

Interesting we are linked with him. In stature he seems to be more like Bradley. As PL2 says though we don't know what the situation is with Vyner. "Unwell" could cover a number of things I guess, haven't seen any reports on him since the weekend.
