Dear All,

As a massive fan of Plymouth Argyle Football Club I am always looking for a way to bring two of my passions in life together - Football and Filmmaking.

With that in mind I have recently been in touch with Din Dierendonck of the Belgian Green Army facebook page, and we have decided to work together to produce a new short film.

Din is huge Plymouth Argyle fan - nothing to shocking there, after all they are by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen... there's just one element that sets Din apart from most PAFC fans. Din is a native son of Sint-Niklaas, near Antwerp, Belgium. Din regularly makes the pilgrimage from Belgium, across the English Channel - down the motorway to Plymouth Argyle Home Park Football Stadium to watch Plymouth Argyle - Green Army play.

My aim with this film is to fly out to Antwerp and join Din as he makes his way to Home Park for an upcoming game. Along the way we are going to explore Din's passion for PAFC and his dedication to the club, having to travel over 420 miles across land and sea. We will also uncover how Din became a fan of Plymouth Argyle and his expectations for the 2018/2019 season.

Our aim for this project is to create an amazing, entertaining and informative short documentary that we can share with the nationwide filmmaking and football communities in the UK and Belgium. We hope the film can advertise the club, it's fans and the wider city of Plymouth. There's just one problem... we have no budget and we aren't making any money from this venture.

Considering the costs of international travel, we need to raise a considerable amount of money to make this film become a reality. That's where you come in.

We are looking for donations via our GoFundMe campaign to finance my journey to Belgium. We have a target of £500, which is no small fee but covers the production costs, which are stretched extremely thin in order to be as cost effective as possible. We hope that this film can call light to the diversity and welcoming nature of the city of Plymouth. I truly believe that football has the power to bring people together and I think this is an exceptional story that deserves to be told. We need your help to tell it!

Please help us get this project off the ground with donations and shares this post and the GoFundMe page!
