The latest Argyle news and gossip

Defender Niall Canavan talked about the Cambridge game and the need of a rest .... club website
“Yeah it was frustrating, that was definitely the overriding feeling after that game today, a game which we dominated and just couldn’t find the goal – it just didn’t drop for us today."
Ryan Lowe also talked about the game.... club website
“It was a boring 0-0 if you like, but it was not for the lack of trying. Our lads have put everything into trying to get the three points and we certainly did that from the side-lines by putting players on to create more chances and more opportunities."

Looking at those stats, it suggests that a minimum of 85 points will get us automatic promotion.

That is another 23 points from 12 games.

8 wins and 4 losses will do that. 7 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses will do it too (just)

6 games at home, and one of those is a against Exeter - making that game of key importance.

Home games are - Grimsby, Macclesfield, Exeter, Forest Green, Northampton, and Port Vale.
Away games are - Bradford, Morecambe, Leyton O, Grimsby, Walsall and Oldham.

23 points + from that lot? I hope so.

Yes but unfortunately two of our home games are against current dark horses Northampton and Vale whilst a third is against the gnome’s team when anything might happen but we should do it although we shouldn’t have got relegated last year either!

Is there a reason why you call the 2 minute highlights the "extended highlights". They aren't extended. For some reason it really annoys me

You can see extended highlights (11 or 12 minutes) if you subscribe £45 per annum to ifollow.
There may be other ways but that’s what I use.

Exactly my point, Davie. There are extended highlights available to iFollow subscribers. But the ones linked to the Daily News threads are always the short ones available to everyone. No biggie, but it just annoys me that they get called extended when they aren't.

Just screaming into the void here really.
