Blimey 23 years ago. Remember it well. One of the most surreal games to be honest.

Not sure why anyone would slate this story in the herald, it's our history

Remember this game well....was working in Sheffield at the time & this was almost local.
The injustice actually, still rankles in that Carr (their no 6) led with his elbow knocking out Grobs & it all kicked off!
However Argyle fine was greater than that of the home side yet ref sent off 3 of theirs & 2 Greens!

I will get over it - had to be reminded of it in truth by this article....

Another 3 points earned the hard way!!!
Nice to see the passion though.

Ref sent 2 from each team for the punch up and had already sent Mauge off earlier so 3 of ours and 2 of theirs.
