The home of the illiterate Plymouth Herald. Now headlining Chasing promising instead of chasing promotion. What a set of wan—ers. The sooner this rag is closed down the better.

What else would you expect from a left wing Mirror Group publication. Too busy bigging Luke Pollard up .

Left or Right some basic skills of knowledge regarding the English language would be helpful to a journalist. The pr-ts who "work" on the Herald are thick beyond belief

I think Chris Errington is an excellent journalist, he certainly is dedicated to Argyle and I appreciate that.

The Herald does suffer when CE is away, they used to have four or five young journos writing the Argyle articles.
CE must be one of the longest serving local football journos in the country.

Quite frankly the rag is an embarrassment to the city - inaccurate reporting, incoherent copy and immature click bait headlines. Trash beyond belief regardless of its political ownership.

I've lived in a few different places and the Herald is as good as any local paper out there in my opinion. Its part of Plymouth culture and a lot of people would miss it if ever disappeared (I certainly hope it doesn't).

They are pretty much the only independent media outlet covering Argyle and I think they do a great job- the weekly podcast is well worth listening to as well. Its the first place a lot of people look for Argyle news and I enjoy their daily coverage. Chris Errington is very good, but the others are good too.

Well said, Gaspar!!
I don’t buy the Herald anymore but I find Chris Errington’s Argyle coverage on Plymouth Live excellent.
His assessment of MoM is normally reasonable even if I don’t always agree.

Can we please leave politics out of it? There are lots of diverse political views amongst Pasoti readers and posters. Much as there are for Herald readers.
Criticise them for their sports or Argyle coverage by all means - but anything other than that does nothing for Argyle debate, in my opinion.

Left wing? Argyle?

Don't you like George Cooper?

Party politics doesn't affect football.

I don't think the 'erald is what it was - or anything near it tbh.

But if we lose it, what?

CE does a good job with Argyle ... and some other local football teams sometimes (e.g. Parkway) and I would like to have more real journalists as well as CE. Many are "cut and paste" specialists who do nothing but draw a wage.
