0-4 win on Tuesday puts us level with Swindon, with same GD and same goals scored. What criteria is used then for table? Is it head to head results?

According to the EFL rules -

9.2 If two or more Clubs have the same number of points, goal difference and goals scored the highest placed Club shall be determined by the respective League records against each other, taking into account in order of precedence, points gained, goal difference and goals scored.

9.3 If the above procedures do not separate the Clubs then the highest placed Club shall be determined by reference to the following criteria, in the order prescribed:

9.3.1 number of wins;

9.3.2 goals scored in away games

After all this, if there's still a tie, it goes down to disciplinary points

Stevenage haven't been able to be mathematically be Divisional Champions for quite a few weeks now. Even if before today they could theoretically have got more points by the end of the season than Swindon already have, it isn't possible for everyone else to lose every game between now and May.

WE have this same comment every year we know what you are saying is true but this is a simple fun table that we can start eliminating teams from relegation and/or promotion. :sigh: :sigh: :sigh:

Yeah, I get that. I get that it shows individual club maximum points totals but it was your quote of "Here she be and the first piece of news is Swindon cannot be relegated and Stevenage cannot be Champions" that I was responding to because it wasn't entirely correct. Well it is correct but reality is, there are many others who can't be champions as well as Stevenage.

Well it is correct but reality is, there are many others who can't be champions as well as Stevenage.

So take the time Lundan to create a spreadsheet or other formula you can use that does the mathematically complex calculations and you can update quickly and easily and turn into an easy to follow bit of fun chart for most to keep an eye on then rather than playing the negative condescending pedantic prat.

Or is it just easier to comment and then comment again on something someone else is doing for others benefit that is looked forward to and enjoyed rather than do something positive to overcome or correct what,I assume, you perceive as a serious weakness in the fun chart?
