These are the number of points gained after their first 25 league games by the managers concerned.

I wouldn't want to open old wounds but personally, in terms of quality of football delivered and level of competition, I'd say that Ian Holloway made as impressive a start as anyone.

According to GOS after 25 games of Adams’ first season we had 52 points.

OOPS - and GOS is, of course, quite right. It makes Derek Adams' credentials even better but I still reckon Ian Holloway is up there with the best.
