Ryan Lowe has revealed another new player will be announced on Monday. The new signing is likely to be Bury forward Byron Moore who will become the seventh new player of the summer and the fifth from Bury.

Ryan Lowe says injured strikers Ryan Taylor (ankle) and Dom Telford (thigh) should be fit for the season curtain raiser at Crewe Alexandra but are unlikely to be risked in the pre-season games against Buckland and Bristol Rovers.

The Argyle youth team lost 5-3 away to Bristol City on Saturday.

Former Argyle midfielder David Fox is on trial at National League side Barrow AFC and has featured in four pre-season games, manager Ian Evatt said:
“Conversations have started – why would you not want to sign quality?
“David played 40-odd games in League One for Plymouth last season and has had a fantastic career – he’s been promoted to the Premier League."
The Cumbrian side finished in 10th place in the National League last season.
