Mpenza or Fallon upfront?

And I’d like either Nalis or Jimmy in CM.

Terrible West at CB :funny:

Yea not withstanding Hayles because he is English that is some team.

Until the early 2000s, there aren't a great deal of non-British Argyle players, so it does make for a shorter list to choose from. I remember a Dutch guy called Eric Van Rossum turning up when Dave Kemp was manager, but nothing about him beyond that.

Ronnie Mauge was capped by Trinidad and Tobago, so can we sneak him in? I know he was a Londoner.

And speaking of internationals, Barry Hayles was last heard of playing for England Veterans, who recently lost the World Cup final over in Thailand.

Evans and Carey that are that spring to mind.

And Coughlan & Hourihane?

We could almost have an Irish XI...

Including the Irish I'd have:
Larrieu, Seip, Bhasera, Timar, Coughlan, Friio, Nalis, Carey, Buzsaky, Halmosi, Fallon

You'd have Rory Fallon ahead of Trigger?

I know he has friends in high places, but i cant think of a single Argyle fan since Roger Hutchinson (one for the old school) who would agree with that.

:?

Ye... I thought that as I posted... Trigger had slipped my mind...

I do really rate Fallon & an Argyle player at the World Cup was pretty special but obviously Trigger should start ahead of him... Rory can be on the bench

Thought Barry Hayles played for Jamaica??

Hmm Dwight v Corrazzin, think Carlo just edges it for pure goalscoring for me.

Dwight outscored Carlo while playing for us.

A goal every 3.23 games for Dwight, every 3.54 for Carlo

So Dwight on pure goal-scoring edges it

Don't want to throw a spanner in the works but what about the Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish? Oh, and the Cornish... :D

I never rated Bhasera.

Seip was a classy centre back when he was behaving himself.

Mpenza was also very talented.. what a shame he only showed this a handful of times in an Argyle shirt.

Friio is probably the best all-round foreign player of the last 20 years or so. Halmosi was also very good..
Buzsaky had the flashy skills but was less of a team player in my opinion.
