The Sun's Alan Nixon reports Ryan Lowe is ready to leave Bury and join Argyle .... The Sun
RYAN LOWE is ready to quit crisis club Bury and take the Plymouth Argyle job.

Boss Lowe has waited for the promoted Shakers to find a new buyer to get out of a financial mess but is frustrated at a lack of progress.
Lowe, 40, confided in players that he may have to leave because Bury have so many question marks over their budget and future.

Argyle are also pressing for an answer after approaching him a week ago, with a long-term deal on offer. Lowe would also have to uproot his family from Merseyside but he may be forced to head to Devon for more job security.

Plymouth want to announce their new man by the end of the week.

The latest betting for Argyle's new manager is reflected in the odds for Ryan Lowe ....

So, after saying that some of our problems stemmed from lack of serious opposition in the pre-season friendlies last summer, we are going to do EXACTLY THE SAME this season: local clubs eg Torquay and Tavistock, with a meaningless and expensive visit to Holland.

Nice one.

In fact, the only useful barometer of our performance in the 2018/19 season was our pre-season friendly vs Yeovil, where we were battered. And we're not even doing that this summer.

So, all the worry about Lowe coming to live down here?

Oldham - 13 miles from Bury - not in the betting.
Middlesborough - 112 miles from Bury - 33/1
Swansea - 125 miles from Bury - 25/1.
Theatre of Greens - 292 miles from Bury - big odds on.

Funny old game ain't it!! ;)
