The early bird season ticket prices for League One clubs for season 2019/2020, based on an adult in a standard seat.

Some clubs offer different (cheaper/more expensive) prices for different areas of their stadium, nearly all clubs offer the usual benefits of being a season ticket holder like a discount in the club shop, priority tickets for cup games and free entry into reserve games etc, other clubs like Southend have been a bit more imaginative. Three clubs haven't released early bird details.
Early bird deadlines range from March to June, Luton have also given a price for Championship football and Sunderland have hinted at a price rise should they get promoted but have given League One prices for now.
The anomaly of Bradford's blanket cost of £150 has not been included in the total average cost for League One (they'll be in League Two anyway).

Argyle's early bird offer is £395 for an adult for all areas of the current layout of the stadium, the League One average (for 20 clubs) is £354.35. So Argyle's price is above average but a club our size will have bigger overheads and operational costs than most League One clubs.

Luton Town: League One £380. Championship £400 - £450.
Barnsley: £315 - £390. Average £347.
Portsmouth: No information available.
Sunderland: £310 - £395 - £415. Average £373.
Charlton: £355 - £405 - £520. Average £426.
Doncaster Rovers: £299 - £329 - £395. Average £341.
Peterborough: £399 (end of March) - £419 (end of April). Average £409.
Coventry City: No information available.
Blackpool: £269 - £319. Average £294.
Burton Albion: £420.
Oxford United: £299 - £390 - £440. Average £376.
Fleetwood Town: No information available.
Gillingham: £300 - £305 - £355 - £405. Average £341.
Accrington Stanley: £219.
Rochdale: £200 - £250. Average £225.
Bristol Rovers: £340 - £410 - £440. Average £396.
Shrewsbury Town: £310 - £370. Average £340.
Wycombe Wanderers: £352.
Southend United: £395 plus three free guest tickets and a pin badge.
Argyle: £395.
AFC Wimbledon: £385 plus an option for a £50 donation to the club.
Scunthorpe - £360 plus 23 free match programmes.
Walsall: £250 - £340 - £350. Average 313.
Bradford: £150.

As a guide League Two prices for some clubs:
Cambridge United - £339 - £375.
Port Vale: £295 - £310.
Crewe: £295 - £318.
Notts County: £310 - £380.
Northampton: £380.

Thanks, interesting stuff.

Burton's costs stand out for me as out of kilter with clubs of similar stature.

Guess Coventry can't offer information until they find a ground for next season.

Burton's price seems too expensive while Accrington's is ridiculously low. Strange.

I’m new to the forum but have watched Argyle since 1970 aged 8.
Sadly the cost of tickets on the day and fuel 160 mile round trip for me , my brother and 3 grandsons 12,13 and 15 on a herdsmans wage is now unaffordable.
Season tickets are a non starter as I milk every other weekend the boys now watch either Falmouth Town or Truro City and Cornish Pirates.
I’m afraid league football for the less well off and living in a fairly isolated areas is now often a non starter.
The boys have accepted the situation as have we will be following as we have for the last season and a half via reports on radio Cornwall and on here.
Their is nothing that can be done it’s simply the market you can afford it or not.
Support down here, travelling support that is has dropped of for similar reasons. Support for the club with younger people isn’t as strong as it was but that’s how it goes.
Up the Argyle

I'm not sure wether you are aware bud, but this site does offer up to five seats per game for situations such as yours.

If you fancy the Morecambe game (as an example) send me a message and we'll make sure you all get a seat at no charge. At least then you only have to find the fuel. :scarf:
