There is always something special about evening games as the atmosphere seems to build up to a different level, so let’s hope the team can turn up the volume and get the 3 points we desperately need. Your 50/50 team always like to keep you updated with previous winners (providing they give us permission) and at the recent Doncaster match Tim Dyke came to the office showing us his Dad’s winning ticket to claim. Seller Steve, who sold the ticket, took him to the club shop to claim his cash prize of £637. Tim is a previous winner with the lottery as a couple of years ago he won the Dave Rowntree Match Experience and had a fantastic day out with club photographer Dave. We will offer this prize again when the stadium development is finished - it’s a cracking prize. Tim and Dad Martin have been season ticket holders in block 8 for the last 15 years and recently they started bringing a younger brother along too. Tim is due to get married very soon and Dad Martin is donating the money towards Tim’s wedding and putting money behind the bar on the day. (No wonder Tim came rushing down to claim the prize!). I think you should keep the odd £7 for 50/50 tickets Martin. The lads sent a special thank you to Ryan Taylor for picking the winning ticket out in the half time draw. Woodlands have once again returned to offer a pair of tickets to their wonderful theme park at Dartmouth and the tickets are valid until August 2019. They just keep on supporting the 50/50 lottery.
The prizes for Tuesday are:-
First prize - Cash prize
Second prize – Annual Family Membership to Hill Lane Tennis Club Plymouth
Third prize – A pair of tickets to Woodlands Theme Park at Dartmouth.
