From memory that's the ONLY thing that will remind where it is in the Grandstand.

That will be different and awkward for the press who are used to having a halfway line view of a game.
The games against Portsmouth and Bristol Rovers will be 'interesting' for them and may affect their concentration. :)

Looking at that photo again, it looks like a camera gantry as well as press boxes.

If that is where the Sky Sports News reporter will be, then all SSN viewers will hear is the away fans! :problem:

That scaffolding has been there for at least a couple of seasons now.

Yes, but if the reporters are down there the SSN and other TV people will be there too, even if, as Ian says, the camera gantry will stay on the grandstand. It can't stay there whilst they redo the roof surely?

I'd imagine it will move, but I'd be surprised if that becomes the new location for it. I'd have thought they can stay there for the time being while the players are also still using the stand. But when the players relocate I'd have thought a temporary camera position between the dugouts, just in front of where the tunnel is, would be a better solution.

The Lyndhurst roof might be used for a camera position with appropriate H&S carried out. A small structure could be built on top of the roof and there's already access to the roof with a ladder and opening at the back of block 11 or 12.

Pilgrim Pete has been on the roof. :)

The ifollow video feed was from the grandstand, but the audio feed was from the Lyndhurst end and one of the first comments was I hope this drummer from Saffend doesn't keep this up all game, and he did except for a bit after Carey scored.

Well The Herald successfully used a Cherry Picker in the past when they were banned from HP.
