1st: Former Argyle loan signing Zak Vyner is set to leave Bristol City and join Rotherham United on a season long loan deal.

2nd: Birmingham Live continues to report that Aston Villa and Birmingham City are still interested in Argyle keeper Michael Cooper.

The date for the Carabao Cup First Round game against Bristol City at Ashton Gate has been confirmed for Tuesday 14th August with a 7.45pm kick-off. Tickets are priced at ÂŁ11 for adults and ÂŁ6 for senior citizens and under-19s.

3rd: Former Argyle centre-back Graham Coughlin joins Bristol Rovers as Defensive Coach.

4th: Plymouth Parkway will screen the World Cup quarter-final game between England and Sweden following the pre-season match against Argyle on Saturday. Live entertainment starts at 10.30am followed by the match against Argyle and then the England match shown on several screens.

The new home kit will be on sale at the Argyle Superstore from Thursday July 5 with extended opening hours this Saturday July 7 from 9am to 2pm.

Former Argyle keeper Luke McCormick is listed as a trialist for Swindon Town in the second half of a friendly match against Cirencester this evening. Swindon won 3-1 with McCormick conceding a late goal.

5th: Due to a "relatively low level" of interest the Fans Forum scheduled for Monday 9th July has been postponed. A new date to quiz the directors will be set and the questions that were sent in will be answered and published on the club website.

6th: Argyle will once again play MVV Maastricht while on their pre-season training camp in the Netherlands. The match will take place on 27 July with a 8pm kick-off (local time). Fans who want to attend the game will need to register. ...

Former Argyle striker Louis Rooney signs for Truro City after leaving Linfield.

7th: Luke McCormick signs a one year contract with Swindon Town.

Argyle win the first pre-season game of the summer 4-2 against Plymouth Parkway. Two goals were scored in each half, Gary Sawyer and Conor Grant netted in the first half while Ryan Edwards and Joel Grant scored in the second.
Derek Adams fielded a different team in each half with Sawyer and Edwards as captains.

Tickets have gone on sale for the pre-season match against Torquay United on 17 July. Tickets are priced at ÂŁ10 for adults and ÂŁ5 for concessions and can be bought online here or at the turnstile on the day of the game.

8th: Derek Adams tells the club website he expects to make one more signing ....
 “We have got one more signing to do that will probably be a central midfield player. 

“There is nothing close at this moment in time but we have got players we are speaking to.”

9th: Derek Adams says he will name the captain after the pre-season training camp in Holland.

Due to the England World Cup semi-final match taking place on Wednesday the pre-season friendly match against Callington has been postponed and will now take place on Tuesday 31 July.

10th: A full first team squad will play Torpoint Athletic tonight, kick-off 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at ÂŁ8 adults; ÂŁ5 concessions, accompanied Under-16's free.

The World Cup semi-final match between England and Croatia will be screened at Home Park with free admission....

Bristol City midfielder Liam Walsh continues to be linked with a loan move to Argyle.

Argyle win 6-0 against Torpoint in the second friendly game of the summer. Derek Adams once again fielded two different teams in each half, Ruben Lameiras gave Argyle a first half lead and five more goals were scored in the second half from Graham Carey, Freddie Ladapo, David Fox and Gregg Wylde (2).

12th: Royal Marine Ollie Osborne has joined the Argyle coaching staff on a secondment as strength and conditioning coach.

Home Park will screen the last two matches of the World Cup - England v Belgium third place play-off on Saturday at 3pm and the final on Sunday at 4pm between France and Croatia. Tickets are free but must be obtained before each game.

14th: The Argyle first team beat Tavistock 5 -1 in the third pre-season game of the summer. After going behind Graham Carey scored two penalties while Freddie Ladapo, Ruben Lameiras and Joel Grant scored the other three goals.

A young Argyle team beat Helston 5 - 0. On the score sheet were Cameron Sangster, Luke Jephcott 2, Klaidi Lolos and Dan Rooney.

In the latest pre-season game Argyle beat Bideford 3-0 with the goals scored by Joel Grant, Ryan Edwards and Gregg Wylde.

19th: The Superstore website has been updated and now offers a click and collect service ... Superstore

Argyle fans can purchase tickets on the day for Saturday's pre-season game against Yeovil Town but need to go to the ticket office on the Tamburino side of Huish Park on Saturday to purchase and not at the turnstile. It will just be the seating in the Screwfix stand that will be available, both home and away standing terraces will be closed.

20th: An Argyle XI draw 0 - 0 at Dorchester Town.

21st: Former Argyle loan player Matty Kennedy signs a two year contract with SPL side St Johnstone.

Argyle lose 5 - 1 against Yeovil Town with Joel Grant scoring the consolation goal.

Striker Alex Fletcher has spent a week at Scottish Championship side Dunfermline with a view to a loan move, however the move didn't happen and Fletcher has now returned to Home Park and will train with the Development squad while the first team are in the Netherlands.

Striker Ryan Taylor is set to start pre-season training following his injury while midfielder Antoni Sarcevic is a week away from pre-season training after recovering from his injury. Both players will travel with the squad to the training camp in the Netherlands this week where two games will be played against SV Schermbeck in Germany and MVV Maastricht in Holland plus a third game against unnamed opposition behind closed doors.

Defender Callum Rose, who was released by Argyle at the end of last season, has signed a one year contract with Dorchester Town.

24th: New CEO Michael Dunford tells Plymouth Live that nearly 6000 season tickets have been sold plus another 1400 associated memberships. The capacity for Home Park during the refurbishment of the grandstand will be 12,770.

Argyle beat SV Schermbeck of Germany 1 - 0 in the first game of the pre-season trip to the Netherlands. Striker Callum Dyson headed in the late winner.

On loan Wolves keeper Harry Burgoyne has broken his ankle during training in Holland and returned home.

The kick-off time for Argyle's match against Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium on 8th September has been brought forward to 1.30pm.

Argyle lost 2-1 against a Feyenoord XI team in a behind the closed friendly game. Ruben Lameiras scored a late goal while striker Ryan Taylor played for 75 minutes. Freddie Ladapo and Conor Grant both missed the game because of injury.

Adams confirmed that injured keeper Harry Burgoyne will be out until December and that Argyle are still contractually having to pay his wages although talks with Wolves are taking place.

Newport County manager Michael Flynn says Argyle have not made an approach for striker Padraig Amond. This was in response to a Twitter story linking Argyle with a ÂŁ300,000 move for Amond.

1st: Former assistant manager Craig Brewster tells Cornwall Live of his sadness of leaving Argyle.....

“I was extremely disappointed (to leave Argyle). I was coming back at the end of March and the manager phoned me up a week before.

“He told me that my contract was up at the end of the season and it would not get renewed.
As there were only a few weeks to go until the end of the season he said not to bother coming back.

“That’s how it ended and I was extremely sad but that was what the manager wanted.”

Derek Adams reveals he is close to announcing new signings...
“Hopefully over the next 10 days or so we will have a good possibility of signing players.
We have agreements in place. We have got players that have to go through medicals and then we will take it from there.”

4th: Southend United are reported to be the latest club interested in signing Sonny Bradley.

Derek Adams tells Plymouth Live he was only too happy to sign a new contract....
“James Brent spoke to me towards the end of last season and offered me a new contract.
“We quickly agreed to that and I’m delighted to stay for the long term.
 “The football club and the chairman have been very good to me, and I feel that myself, the staff and the players have helped them so it was agreed very quickly.”

It's confirmed the capacity for Home Park for next season is 12,500 with reduced seating area for away fans.

5th: Former Argyle striker Ryan Brunt is released by Exeter City.

22nd: Sonny Bradley talks about the games against Argyle next season and explains that he couldn't agree a new contract with Derek Adams. ...
"The Plymouth game now will have a bit of bite to it, which I like. “Whether they clap me or boo me, it won’t make any difference to me. “I’ve got nothing but respect for the football club, nothing but respect for the manager there. “No matter what’s been said, nothing will change my opinion of the club, as I had a brilliant two years there. Throughout the whole of May, I had conversations with the manager and we couldn’t get a deal sorted. “That’s not a problem at all, it’s just part of football, it happens, happens every season.”

“It was after the fact that I wasn’t going to sign with Plymouth again, that’s when I decided to move on. “It wasn’t a case of there were two contracts in front of me, do I pick this one?
