The Times carries a big piece of editorial today re. Aston Villa's lifting of the original League Cup in 61. It mentions 3 players, all of whom at one time played in the green shirt of Argyle, namely Alan O'Neill, Peter McParland and Harry Burrows. Argyle gets a mention as one of Alan O'Neill's clubs. Grey haired supporters like myself can still purr over the silky skills of the first 2 mentioned, but Harry Burrows was coming to the end of his career having transferred in from Stoke City.
