Championship club threaten breakaway over TV cash

Villa, Leeds and other Chairman reported this morning to be furious with the Sky deal, and the EFL Chairman who negotiated it. They feel totally undersold as the gap between Premiership and Championship income grows. They also feel that the increase in midweek televised games will hit their gates. Big meeting planned. Could this lead to a breakaway?

They can hate it all they want, problem is most of those clubs still see themselves as Premier League clubs and think they deserve that level of money whether they are in the Prem or not!

All these big boys just hate the face "littlle teams " like Watford , Bournemouth, Burnley and Huddersfield were good enough to get promoted and they haven't.

Leeds and Forest haven't even come close to promotion for years !!
