I see they lost their opening match at Plainmoor 4-0. All goals scored by one Jake Robinson who was subbed in the 75th minute!

I have yet to find anywhere giving the crowd size.

Seen someone say 362, but on the same site they reckon there was only 36 Truro fans there with the rest being Torquay/Billericay

A shocking 362, although their last match of last season had 521.

Thanks Guys.

Hard to see how they can survive on that sort of income. I presume they are paying Torquay more than that crowd would have produced.

Sell your ground and move a few hours away.

Recipe for disaster.

As I understand it plans for their new ground are well underway, but it's hard to imagine this season being anything but a massive struggle. Has there ever been such a long-distance groundshare? Brighton at Gillingham a few years ago maybe?

I doubt they got very much at home games anyway - let alone when they have to travel so far in and attendances will probably only going to get worse when the winter sets in!

Somehow guess Truro will have to hope they can survive this season and ensure the new ground is ready for next season.

Average of 469 last season, with a high of 676.

I'm fairly sure that I read that they don't even have all the funding for the new ground yet so can't see it being ready for a good couple of years.

Seems like they were rather forced out of their ground - maybe a year early?
