The rumour is Argyle have bid £300,000 for a 30 year old striker. The Newport manager says he hasn't heard a word of interest from Argyle. I must say I believe him, DA won't waste precious funds on a player with no resale value whatsoever.

Ummm, only my opinion but I think if DA’s went to the board with a strong and credible request for such a sum of money for that special kind of player then I wouldn’t be surprised if it was found.

On the flip side to that I don’t think DA’s would ever ask for that sum of money because he’s not that kind of manager, especially in this league.
