Just been released, former Barcelona B player, 22. Would be a free transfer.
Would he be worth a punt?

He was one of the Oxford team that lost 7 - 0 to Wigan. It was his last appearance for them.Joseveth":wjh9tt1j said:Looks interesting! Wonder why he was released though following only 9 appearances with 1 goal?
Not quite. They actually wanted to keep Taylor.HC Green":1n2cqdoj said:If it happens then it would be identical to Ryan Taylor arrival last January.

He wasn't a regular starter and wanted to play more, but he did play and score a couple of games before his exit. Oxford would have been happy to keep him on, but he was already in talks with us before the 'mutual termination' took place.HC Green":178poux4 said:Argy1e":178poux4 said:Not quite. So why did Oxford terminate Taylor’s contract by mutual consent?

He's the most exciting free agent I can currently find. Able to play as a central or a wide midfielder, and at the tender age of 22, with Barcelona pedigree, he could be moulded into something quite special.
Don't know why Oxford let him walk, unless he doesn't get on well in the changing room
Edit: He's 23 tomorrow

Or he's not very good
