Heckingbottom sacked at Sheffield Utd, Chris Wilder to return. Would seem a little pointless on the face of it but judging by Heckingbottom’s comments at the weekend he may have lost the dressing room.
Football really is a weird sport isn't it? Wilder coming in after being sacked before is mind blowing.

A visit to the Stoke and PNE web sites is instructive. A growing demand for Alex Neil to be fired, and on the PNE site a similar pressure, with claims Lowe may be being lined up for the Stoke job after AN is fired. A suggestion he may jump before being pushed. Terrible sense of entitlement at both clubs that they should dare to go five games without a win, and losing to clubs like Argyle and Rotherham.

I don't really understand what PNE fans expect. A very low budget and no real modern history of success, especially in the top two divisions. Lowe is doing a pretty decent job there all things considered. Okay, they've dropped off, but a playoff space is still a possibility if they regain some form, but if they finish around mid table, that is surely a pretty satisfactory season?

Michael Duff has just been sacked by Swansea. Utter madness.

And coincidentally Nathan Jones has pulled out of discussions for the Rotherham job.

Swansea Chairman getting twitchy- what were they expecting a new manager to do after just 4 months
Will a new manager get a tune out of the players at his disposal - sheer madness

Rumours on PNE site he could be gone tomorrow. Fallen out with the squad apparently. We will see, but lots of talk about the money spent on new players and his poor tactics.

Last 10 form table not good for him. Although Swansea are top half so not sure if it counts for much where Board of Directors are concerned.

Isn’t Swansea a case of the tail wagging the dog though, when it comes to what should be managerial decisions? The “Morgs case” is evidence of that, where the Board wanted him back to sell but the manager didn’t want him in the team.

For me, clubs like that get what’s coming to them.

Such poor ownership by Swansea. They hire a very good manager who plays a totally different style to the club DNA and players recruited to play that style. Then they wonder why it doesn’t work. Feel for Duff, he’s a good manager.

One positive by product of all these clubs changing managers is surely Schuey will realise how lucky he is and suddenly Argyle seem a lot more attractive than these so called “bigger clubs”. It might reduce the risk of him leaving.

Looking at Preston forum, many fans want Lowe out as football is predicatable, leaking goals and not creating chances. And you can see a lot of them don’t warm to him too much. At this rate Schuey will be longest serving manager in the championship soon!
