"He has been brought in to be a left wing-back. He's a different type of player than Conor Grant. He's more explosive, gets to the by-line and will take you on one-v-one.
"Conor is more of a prober, and works his way up into those position”

Its interesting that Schumacher sees the difference in the players we have and identified we did need something different.

Law to go out on loan then.

He’s under contract for the season and he’ll go out on loan. Unless we get a significant injury or Law has an outstanding 3/6 months out on loan, I don’t think we will see him playing for Argyle again.

So close.

Surely the only reason Law would be loaned out would be to get regular football and hopefully make him a better player on his return. No point in signing him on a 12 month contract just to benefit another club.
I'm not too sure if Argyle haven't outgrown him. Will he be good enough for Championship football? A season away from Home Park with another club may be the making of him, he hasn't exactly been a regular for us has he? A make or break season for him I expect.

Am I the only one who thinks we need 5 strikers? 2 for the team, 2 for the bench, and one spare. If we only have 4 then a single injury leaves us short.

Where does he fit in?

SS has said he’s looking for a season long loan for him. He’s on a 12 month contract. How else can we read it?

Very possible that Ryan Law is on a 12 month contract and the club have an option to extend, by sending him out on loan for the season, he benefits by getting regular game time and the club can monitor his progress. What will be interesting is what level of club will take him, if he goes to a club below Conference National, then he would need to excel, be recalled and then go out again after Christmas to a higher level.
However, the fact that Ryan is earmarked for a loan move would suggest that Conor Grant is unlikely to be leaving this summer, as this would leave us with Grant and Miller competing for the left wing back role .

I wonder if the 3 signings Schuey wants to bring in include the 3rd goalkeeper alluded to previously by himself or Neil Dewsnip, if not would expect a striker and right wing back as definitely required and possibly another midfielder.

Ryan Law going on loan seems sensible with Miller's arrival. He needs regular game time at maybe National League level to show if he can develop further.
I hope that it's possible to add a striker of real quality, our three current strikers weren't consistently reliable last season.
We also seem to have persistent injury problems at the back, so adding another utility type defender wouldn't do any harm.

To be fair to Hardie , & despite being injured, 19 goals is pretty consistent, it's Jephcott & Ennis that need to improve.
