I think there is something for everyone here ....well done Argyle .....The Away Kit goes well with our partner/sponsor- which for me is the main reason to buy a kit this season, the home kit is so classy.....I am looking forward to seeing the 3rd Kit - I would feel most comfortable wearing personally as its black...its reminds me of MLS/ A League style its - quite modern with the non-traditional colours..

Home kit is best to my eyes, I like it a lot compared to our other home kits since admin. The 3rd kit is very smart in its own way. Away kit a bit messy like the Rotolock desperate dan kit, but by no means a disaster. All OK.

But the away kit is a nod to one of OUR shirts, rather than Palace or Monchengladbach.
Hi Biggs,

I see where you are coming from, as it is a nod to one of OUR shirts, but I think our 95/96 one is our worst shirt of all time. Last season's away strip - homage to my favourite Argyle kit from the 60's, is one our best. The green/white quartered away shirt from a couple seasons ago (my youngest daughter has this one), is also one of my personal favourites. I personally don't see any harm in "borrowing" styles from other clubs. The latter one, reminds me of our own version of the Bristol Rovers quartered kit. Well, one think we can hopefully agree on, I believe we can go one better than last season, where we just fell at the last hurdle and be in the Top 2?

Not without another player to bolster our strikers .

On the train or road down to Plymouth for Home matches, and particularly on the train or at the motorway services to Away matches, there are always lots of footie shirts around. Not being an aficionado of which team is wearing which kit each season, I often have to look at the badge to confirm which club it is. With our new away shirt, however, I think I will be spotted as Argyle from a mile off; so it's that one for me.

I am wondering if all the responders on here are liking/ disliking the shirts for the players to wear, or for the fans themselves to wear.
I suspect most people are voting on whether they would buy/wear it themselves.

Yes, personally I was thinking more for about whether I'd buy one for myself. But the whole point of new shirts each year is to generate income. If it was solely for the players then we'd keep the same shirt for years, as in the days before commercialisation.

And having said I don't much like them, I'm prepared to accept that viewed from afar/on TV they will be perfectly ok. We're not talking Coventry-chocolate, after all.

For the first time in years, I am looking at our shirts and thinking I would quite like to wear one, and not necessarily just to matches. It's the away one.

My son and I both like the third kit. Think I'll be dropping my sponds on that one for sure. I love it. Home kit is nice too. Not too sure about the away yet. Think that might be a grower.

I was shown the 'away' shirt as a prototype in it's original form in 1995. I said it is an abomination we can't have that. The years have mellowed me but it is not a patch on the home shirt just launched which looks brilliant.

Whether you love or hate our latest kits, no-one could argue that we haven't come a long way in kit design since these utter abominations a decade ago...

Yes but to be fair, those particular shirts were launched during administration and were very much thrown together as much as the squad was.

Agree though, the amount of thought that goes into them now is plain to see.
