A few good signings before 10th June may get this number well over 7K which would be brilliant.

Sitting here very bored as the spinal arthritis has decided to pay me a close season visit. I wondered how Argyle's season ticket prices compared to the rest of the teams in league 1 next season. Due to the varying early bird discounts (Some finished at the start of April) I set an arbitrary date of purchase as 31 May, the first payday for many after the end of the season. It seems that Argyle are just below average. All seats are on the halfway line, in the upper tier or, if one tier, in the back row and exclude any 'Club' or 'Executive' tickets.

To compare like with like you need to use either the early bird price for all Clubs or the price after that period finishes for all Clubs.
For example the early bird price for Cheltenham was £409 and Barnsley £390.

As I said I picked an arbitrary date as a lot of clubs do not have their Earlybird prices on their sales page any more. I suppose I could have found them by digging deeper into previous press releases or announcements but I was not that bored. Plus I think it is absurd to sell season tickets at a discounted rate in February and March only as least one club has done.
