I see Michael cheek got the winner for Bromley today against Hollywood Wrexham, with David Beckham and other “A” list celebrities in attendance today at Wembley.

Cheek got 17 for 10th place Bromley, this season before today’s game. .He has been a consistent scorer throughout his career- albeit non- league. To old at 31? Nah. With today’s fitness regimes- he’s probably got another 5 years playing time, at least.

Seems a very clever player, and would love Argyle to take a look this summer...
My local Club....just 2 miles down the road....Michael Cheek quite often lines up in mid-field.....one of the great amateur clubs of the 1950/60's....won the Amateur Cup Final three times in those far off days....1-0 every time.

Ben Purrington's younger brother Tom spent some of last season at Hayes Lane.

I'm a Bromley boy too and was at Wembley yesterday. Michael Cheek has been an excellent goalscorer for Bromley but not sure about how he would perform in League 1.
Incidentally the Wrexham team who Bromley beat was captained by Luke Young and also included Messrs Tozer and Macfadzean. And walking up Wembley Way to the stadium on the way there I encountered a sea of green singing Green Army. I thought I had missed something but it turned out to be Newport Pagnell supporters walking back from a victory in an earlier final reminding me of what might have been the day before!

Just shows what nonsense is spouted on many of these twitter rumour feeds. No thought to check previous relationship between club and player..

Much more likely that they are fully aware of the (slightly hysterical) view that some Argyle fans have of Ladapo and that they've made up the link to get rage clicks.

I personally wouldn't mind him back but having scored pretty regularly at different clubs under different managers at this level and higher for some seasons now, he'll be seen as a bit of a 'sure thing' and therefore miles outside our price range

There’s people on here who are better informed than me about Ladapo and his apparent behaviour whilst at the club previously. I’ve no reason to doubt them so therefore I’d rather not have him back thanks.
