Been a BGL member for about 5years and very pleased to do my small bit to help develop ‘home grown’ talent and get that feeling of pride when the likes of Jephcott Randall Cooper and Law break through into the first team squad. As far as the lottery goes…not even won the curse of the early tenner!
Slightly confused with previous posters reference to suggesting the BGL may be operated more efficiently ‘in house’ in the future….I just thought it was part of the PAFC operation , particularly as the BGL manager is I assume a club employee ….have I missed something ?

Yes you have.

BGL is run by a 3rd party company who also run other club lotteries.

They take a cut of what we pay in.

Just checked latest winners via link on Daily News page. Unlucky again!!

Intrigued to see four of the winners have member numbers above 1000 (1804 the highest)- has there been a rush of people joining as thought there were still less than 1,000 members or is it just administration thing and numbers bear no relation to how many members there may be?

Not been able to find my membership number from when it was issued to me perhaps 10 years ago to check.

The same for this week, one winner membership number below 50, the rest all over 1200.

Are you saying that there were no winning numbers between 50 and 1,200. How many BGL members are there, (if you happen to know)?

Finally found my BGL number, which was re-issued in 2017, when the rebranding from Argyle Foundation took place.

My number is 724. Can't recall now whether the number changed from the days it was called the Foundation.

Anyone remember?

A recent message from the BGL said they were looking to reach 1000 members so it looks like the membership numbers don't equate to the actual total of members.

This is the card that replaced the Foundation.
Inside I've got 168/SO at the top (Mem No & Standing Order?)
Then name and address
Then I have 5 lucky numbers all preceded by the letter A (ranging from 0924 to 4793)
Then 5 jackpot numbers ranging from 2 to 24.

And I haven't got a scooby how it works. :D

I joined the BGL in September last year but I’ve got no idea what my numbers are or even how the various prizes and numbers work. I just assume it’s all set up right. I’ve not won anything.

I joined a few months ago
No idea of my numbers
I have emailed the BGL which was not answered
I asked at the ticket office regarding what proof I would need to show regarding priority ticket purchase and the said the have access to a list?
I have no idea how the BGL thing works.
Apart from the weekly results on FB you never hear anything!

The last tweet from the BGL Twitter account (which is affiliated to the club) was in February 2020.
This is surprising considering the club are excellent with the information given out through their other social media accounts.

I assumed the same regarding the membership number and Standing Order - but who knows?

I have only 4 jackpot numbers - 14, 18, 25 and 32 - how is that I wonder?

Perhaps we may get clarity from the Argyle Official account?

The communication from the BGL (and the Argyle Foundation before it) has always been poor. It is surprising that it has not been made to up its game like the rest of the club.
