• Kidderminster Harriers v West Ham United at 12.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
• Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton & Hove Albion at 8pm on ITV4, ITV Hub, STV and UTV

SUNDAY 6 FEBRUARY 2022
• Liverpool v Cardiff City at 12pm on ITV, ITV Hub, STV and UTV
• Nottingham Forest v Leicester City at 4pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
• AFC Bournemouth v Boreham Wood at 6.30pm on ITV4, ITV Hub, STV and UTV

Shouldn't be surprised, but sad to see them picking Spurs v Brighton ahead of a lower league team.

Think this means we will need to wait to tomorrow afternoon for our confirmation, whilst the remaining games are offered out to international TV / BBC red button. Last time announced around 5pm Friday.

If this turns out to be the case then it may explain why the game is not picked for TV broadcast in the UK. If the entire Chelsea first team squad is travelling to Dubai then our game will effectively be Chelsea U23s (or something) v Argyle which from a TV perspective is hardly going to pull in viewers.

With all the excitement of our first round game against Sheffield Wednesday, plus the unlikelyhood of an upset (in the minds of the TV people as well as many of our fans), its no surprise to see the game was bypassed by the TV companies. Given Chelski's international fan base, I would put money on it being selected for international TV, and thus we get rescheduled to Friday pm with little financial benefit TV wise. Roll on the 5th round draw !

The rip off train fares are even more irritating given that there are replacement bus services between Tiverton and Plymouth for most of the weekend.

If it is selected for international tv and not played at 3pm on Saturday, at least it will be readily available and free to view on bookmaker sites, or dodgy streaming channels.

Doc, this is a perfectly rational argument for why we are not on TV. Can I up the ante and challenge you to provide a similar quality of argument as to why Spurs should be on? And I don’t mean just instead of us.

Thats not an official Chelsea hospitality site. Their official website only allows you to register interest rather than buy.

Would seem odd though that an accredited Chelsea official ticket reseller could sell tickets for a game on a date that may not happen.
