If you run around a bit and you tweet a lot Argyle fans will love you.
If you’re a genuinely good player you’re screwed.

So what chances did Mayor create today? We have a powderpuff strikeforce but I'm struggling to recall one chance that Danny Ronaldinho Mayor created for this powerpuff strikeforce?
No what's weird is you ignoring the point we're discussing. You keep mentioning that we had 50 shots (which aside from being incorrect, you've mentioned several times now). You've also mentioned about our powderpuff strikeforce and how poor Mayor is struggling to thrive with them. But you can't point to a single chance he created today for this strikeforce. That is literally what the guy is employed to do, score and create goals. He's not there to protect the defence or win a dancing on ice competition. He just scored the goal for them instead.
This vendetta against Danny Mayor is really weird. Wouldn’t blame him one bit if he left in January.
You say 50 shots, when it's actually 42.
Pretty sure you did not originally say 3 games but ok.8 shots Vs Charlton (3 on target)
27 shots Vs Wycombe (4 on target)
15 shots Vs Wigan (1 on target)
= 50 shots, 8 on target, 1 goal.
Wont mention the goal but if Mayor lost the ball like Camara did to the build up of their goal there would be sheer outrage.
he is far from our best player...look at his stats....dreadfull over the 3 seasons.Exactly well said! Argyle always have a habit of picking on one player! I just don’t get it especially as he’s one if not our best player
This is spot on. The results with and without Mayor starting speak for themselves. Data analytics will surely be picking this up.The team performs better with Broom instead of Mayor. That's a fact, just look at the results.
But as others have said on other threads, if we can get the two of them (ideally plus Grant) on the pitch at the same time then we'll be in for an exciting experience.
If that's not possible then Broom should be chosen first.
Hunt played because Greaves was injured, not because Alf Ramsay picked him ahead of Greaves. This is spot on. The results with and without Mayor starting speak for themselves. Data analytics will surely be picking this up.
Individual brilliance does not mean a player has the ability to form part of a good team.
Roger Hunt wasn't as individually brilliant as Jimmy Greaves, but Alf Ramsey picked Hunt for the 66 World Cup and we won because we were a better team with him in it.
Greaves wasn't injured for the final.Hunt played because Greaves was injured, not because Alf Ramsay picked him ahead of Greaves.
