Not just Camara though is it? It can be very difficult to get to the pace of a game coming on for 20 minutes to be fair to Broom.
A professional should be able to come on and not lift 3 easy catches into the area, regardless of how long they've been on. I don't deny he's been good, but the sycophantic hype around Broom is way ott and I think his performances have gotten progressively worse bar a ten minute spell at Accrington

Frankly, the debate over Mayor and Broom, which I only engage in because of the ott and, obviously confused 'Broom is better than Mayor' gang, obfuscates a real problem which is the complete lack of goals from Camara from the attacking centre mid position
It does baffle me a little that so many get so heated about Broom and Mayor, both of whom have strengths and weaknesses, yet Camara appears bombproof. Pan has some amazing positives notably in terms of workrate, but he rarely gets the final ball right, and is anything but assured in front of goal. Like the other 2 he can be prone to giving the ball away cheaply. Some go on about his potential, but he's played 150+ league games for Crawley and us, and such potential needs to be fulfilled.

Having said that, I believe all three are major positive assets within our squad, and hope they will continue to be so.

I don’t think anyone has even entered a discussion on who’s better. They are clearly different types of players.

Which player has contributed most to our recent success? Id say Broom.

However, that being said I was gob smacked on Tuesday at Mayor’s ability to bring the ball down under control effortlessly from a sky high clearance with one touch. Awesome! We clearly have an amazing player at our disposal.

It can’t be denied though that a winning team included a Broom that to me engaged with Camara, Grant and Houghton on a different level that hasn’t been replicated with Mayor.

I genuinely believe we are not far away from a total team.

No one has mentioned that one of our Coops is culpable for 3 goals in 3 games but I doubt anyone will agree.

Agree although Cooper has also made good saves during those three games, he's a bit hit and miss at the moment, not helped by Scarr suddenly having a wobble.

A total team needs consistent strikers.

Comparing Broom and Mayor is like comparing Porsche and Ferrari engines fitted to a kit car. Both individually brilliant. Just that the Broom engine fits the chassis and gearbox better and produces better results.

An interesting take on him coming on and us conceding the winner without threatening again. Opinions opinions

He was NOT at fault for any of the Charlton goals.
I'm loathe to disagree with you but I thought the first Charlton goal went underneath him, rather like the Polish goal that went under Shilton. But, as ever, doubtless you are right and I am not😄

My observations :
1. Hardie totally inept if we do not play to his strength, i.e. sliding him in to run on and strike. When does he ever win a high ball against a centre back?
2. Jeffers is not a lge 1 player.
3. What chance does Agard have playing about 10 min a game.
4. Joe is often caught out of position leaving their a left sided player lots of room.
5. Pan is out of form and needs a rest.
6. Coops is making silly errors playing out short.
7. Defence generally has gone from Rock Solid to creaking all over the place
8. Lowe is overrated as a Manager. Its an easy job when things are going well. Its when the team is in the position we are currently in that a Manager earns his corn.
9. I sincerely hope we can get back to playing the exciting free flowing football we have all enjoyed at times thus far. and next weekend is a good time to get it back.

The Polish goal still hurts! Am sure the Charlton goal was much closer, hit powerfully and low just inside the post. Very difficult to stop. He didn't get his angles quite right for 2nd goal but was left completely exposed.
