wouldnt it be a nice gesture from the club to offer all ticket holders in the lower tier a seat in the barn park or devonport for NO extra charge????

Attendance probably well effected already without even considering lower mayflower.
We got the weather, live TV coverage, restricted capacity in upper Mayflower, only home 4 days ago! Fuel problems aswell!

The club have a discounted offer of £12 a ticket in the lower Mayflower for tonight so there should be an increase in fans sat there.
The weather forecast is light rain for tonight.

I remember a few years ago when we had those 'temporary' seats in the lower Mayflower borrowed from a golf course the club gave out polythene ponchos to fans sitting there on a wet day.

What a bunch of prissy snowflakes modern day fans are. As Ian says, a coat and maybe a hat solves the problem.

But no, "ooh, where's my free poncho"... "I demand relocation"... "can I have a lap blankie and a foot rub while you're at it".

Pathetic.

The last time I can remember the club allowing fans a free upgrade was Bradford City Circa 1978, bit of a blizzard game abandoned, I remember standing/sitting on the mayflower and getting a few soakings, Barnsley when we were loosing 1-4 stands out, game abandoned they weren’t happy 😆

moving to a dry seat is hardly an 'upgrade' merely a minimum expectation i would have said.
No. The minimum expectation is to provide the seat the customer paid for with full prior knowledge of its location.

Anything above that is a courtesy for Argyle to bestow, not a 'right' to be demanded or 'expected'.

What next... "I insist on a napkin, a plate and a knife & fork, this pasty is somewhat greasy". No poo Sherlock!

Honestly, the club isn't perfect by a long shot and I've gone on record to raise an eyebrow at the commercial direction it's taken. But have a word with yourselves people, you have responsibilities too. If you want a dry seat that much, if a dry coat is so far beyond your planning capacity... then pay for the upgrade yourself!

There's no such thing as bad weather anyway, just inappropriate clothing. Get a grip.

I was once told that “there is no such thing as bad weather, only poor clothing choices”. Or something like that. I’ll be sat there with my thermals and waterproof coat. Bring it on💪
