This is a non-football thread to discuss your matchday experience for today's game against Doncaster Rovers.

An opportunity to give your thoughts, praise and criticism following your visit to Home Park today, giving overall marks out of 10 for Covid procedures, catering, stewarding, security, seating, PA system, club shop, turnstiles, programme, ticketing, fan zone, general facilities, etc, even use of Argyle TV - providing instant feedback to fellow fans.

The club would also like to receive feedback by email ... feedback@pafc.co.uk.

Brilliant set up under the mayflower now. Only thing missing a better lager than carlsberg and a few tv’s. Although I suspect some wouldn’t leave if the TVs were kept on.

Credit to the club for turning down the volume of the pre-match music.

It looks like tickets are not being sold for the first block in the lower Mayflower apart from season ticket holders. That block close to the Barn Park end was sparse.
Maybe there was trouble in previous games but home fans taunting away fans is all part of football.

The long row of waste bins outside the Lyndhurst continues to cause a bottleneck before and after games.

Male security staff are still using the scanner on female fans including between their legs and vice-versa for female security on male fans.
The club don't publicise enough that fans can request to be scanned or searched by the same gender.

Anyone know why the gate next to the GT’s was locked therefore not permitting access around the back of the Barn Park end? Asking for my 85 year old mother who had to endure a much longer walk due to no prior warning.
The audio volume in the Grandstand was slightly better 👍

After praising the club on several other things this, again seems lunacy. We saw it happen just before Covid for the Exeter game, but 2 friends wanted to go today - looked to buy tickets online but the the mayflower was showing as sold out. Others had reported that they could no longer buy tickets for block G of the the mayflower. It seems the clubs only way of dealing with away fans is having a couple of blocks empty either side. Disappointed about the searching after the club made this public before the Donny game. Pretty hard to ensure searchers will search own sex

That’s poor. It does seem random as to when it’s open or not

This match was never going to be a sell-out, so keeping Mayflower Block G away from general sale is probably far cheaper than employing extra stewards to enforce a line of segregation between Block G and the away fans. There was plenty of taunting going on from there at the Sheff Weds match, including Argo fans who went and sat (or stood) in the narrow Block H strip seats which definitely weren't for sale beforehand.

I imagine if a match approaches capacity, these seats will go on sale with extra stewarding to suit.

Not defending or criticising either way - it's just my guess on the club's position.

I was able to enjoy a pint before KO and at HT from the bar outside the Mayflower lower for the first time this season. Much better.

From what the club explained body searches (a pat down) must be done by the same gender security person, however a wand scanner search can be done by the opposite sex.
The club said they would update their fan communications to let fans know that if they feel uncomfortable they can request a wand scanner search to be carried out by the same gender.
It is mentioned in the usual pre-match articles but not really promoted.

Today, as I've seen at every game, male security using the scanner wand between the legs of female fans, these fans are maybe not aware that they can request that a female steward does this search.

The club are quite rightly promoting the Her Game Too campaign to stop sexist abuse and encourage female fans to attend games and yet they allow males to scan female fans between their legs.

This has happened since the first league game, the club are fully aware of it.

Good that the teams are announced when they are on the pitch now,and that dreadful jazzed up version of semper
has been ditched. Half time chat with guests still not clear in the middle of lyndhurst though, but much better all round.

It can hardly be described as music it's the worst I've heard in all my long years of supporting Argyle.
I know I'm old and may be behind the times but I like to think I recognize good music.
