What is really sad is the fact that some people are promoting the use of dangerous and forbidden items, using the fact that they should be able to do as they wish in total disregard for others.

We are fortunate that they are in the minority but, as usual, they make the most noise to try to substantiate their position with a serious lack of common sense.

Good to see the whole away end standing up and singing, was worried after reading through this thread that we may all be sat down. Another reminder that pasoti isn't representative of the general consensus amongst argyle fans.

As impressive as it lt would look a 40ft high pilgrim Pete with a pasty would be laughable.

Noticed the grounds with the flares burning also had fencing up... now that would be going back to the 80s.

Smoke bombs are forbidden by ground regulations. I don't really understand why anyone who supports a club would deliberately set out to break the rules that the club operates under, thereby undermining the club and potentially exposing it to financial sanctions and also inconveniencing all other supporters of the club due to the need for stricter enforcement of the rules (e.g. more extensive searches on entry etc.).

Also, I can't actually see what the point/attraction of setting off a smoke bomb is anyway. All that happens is that for a couple of minutes there is a dribble of foul-smelling, coloured smoke from some point on the pitch - it is not exactly like there is any exciting firework display, or visual of sonic spectacle. It is all just a bit pointless really. I suppose that really it is all about looking cool to your mates and/or peeing off a load of other people. If a smoke bomb actually looked good I might get it, but it doesn't. It's all a bit pathetic and attention seeking really. Look at me, look at me - I'm so cool I can sneak tiny things things past stewards/security and make a lot of people notice something I have done. I'm so tough I don't have to obey the rules.
