That dressing room has some very strong characters in there. All for the right reasons and it’s a team.

If Lowe feels this guy can add something to the team whilst remaining ‘in line’ then all good.

I’m sure a loan could be ended very hastily if needed.

Yet a good scout would be able to tell you in 20 minutes he was better than Rhys Shirley.

Ryan Lowe will have seen a bit of footage of this lad to assess his strengths before arriving at a decision.

Lowe has been good to Shirley, giving him minutes and exposure, allowing him a chance to get his debut goal. But I think a few fans are getting a bit carried away as to how ready he is for professional football.

However, Derby were struggling to sign any first team players at the start of this season. Their squad was threadbare. So why didn’t even this guy get an opportunity even coming off the bench for Derby?

It probably doesn’t help that their manager is a bit of an arse.
