Can't be match ready yet, but, maybe his return to action not as far off as was feared.
That’s good from his personal point of view but I can’t get excited about it from a football perspective. I think there are better all round players in the team that should always be starting ahead of him. In league one, he’s a bench warmer imo. Can't be match ready yet, but, maybe his return to action not as far off as was feared.
....and what league were we in then .Who was it who provided a large number of assists when we were promoted?
10 games as a 23 year old, with years of improvement ahead of him, stepping back up to a higher division. To anyone with the ability to make balanced or patient judgements, his return to the first team will be very welcome. He played 10 games last season. Hardly enough to draw the conclusion you’ve managed to come to. As we paid money for him, the idea he will be a bench warmer is fanciful tbh.
I dont think him being on the pitch will be anything to do with us paying money for him. I reckon the only time he will get on the pitch is if Law is a disaster at LWB...time will tell.He played 10 games last season. Hardly enough to draw the conclusion you’ve managed to come to.
