Rotherham away (now pay on the day)

I'm not surprised people are wary about travelling. I imagine that there will be a fair few who have been on public transport very infrequently during the pandemic, so the idea of hours on a bus or a train could cause some angst.

I had a look at the covid map out of interest and Plymouth is actually worse off in terms of number of cases at the moment than Rotherham (mind you, the rest of South Yorkshire is a similar colour):

I suspect the lateness of tickets going on sale and little or no information on whether away fans would be permitted has put some people off as long distance train fares are extortionate at short notice and until the last couple of days cheap advanced fares were hard to find.
Plus Rotherham isn’t a particular attractive place to be if you had booked and ended up not being allowed in.

Sorry if this has been posted already. Just seen on official Rotherham twitter feed that they are offering free match tickets to Saturday's game for those getting first or second covid vaccination on the day.

Just 500 tickets sold so far, very disappointing. With the low crowds for the pre-season home games especially the first game against Swansea it seems the appetite for the Big Return isn't there.
it will be when they go on general sale and it just show's how many season ticket holders go to away games and yes i know it is Rotherham south yorkshire, this is why i think the club should do some sort of away membership so if we do get a BIG away game in the cup the regular away supporter's have a chance of a ticket.

Have got my tickets for Rotherham- it is going to be an extremely long couple of days

Just a heads up- i rang the ticket office as i dont live in Plymouth & the postal service where i live is not reliable & i was told you can collect your tickets from the Box Office at Rotherham- so that is what i will be doing

When you get to checkout & paying you will just need to state collection method as collect from box office- the ticket office did mention when i get to the Box Office at Rotherham i will just need to show the confirmation email confirming purchase of tickets

800 tickets now sold.👏

Tried to use the online system which crashed so rang Argyle to buy which was a lot easier. I'm relying on mine arriving in the post by Saturday. I'll be travelling down from Knaresborough and meeting a friend coming over from Manchester. Very much looking forward to it as it's my first Argyle match since we played at Bradford in February 2020.

There is the flexi membership away fans can buy, gives you 6 home games (which you can use in 1 or 2 games if you want to go with friends/family) and priority in the cup. Perfect for Argyle fans who live around the country.
