Come on peeps, it's been a couple of weeks now, we've tweaked quite a bit, but there's more to come.

Now you've got used to it, what do you reckon?

It's missing being able in some cases to start with the latest comments.
You also need to scroll down to the bottom of listings, before moving on til the next page.
Previously you were able at the top of a page to select the page number that you wished to start at.

Both options are there.

If a thread is emboldened then it means you have unready messages - click the thread title to be taken to the first unread.
On multi-page threads there are the usual boxes to click to go to the appropriate page.
(None of this works if you are not logged in of course)

I know that Chrissie Hynde reckoned that it's a thin line between love and hate, but it's not necessarily like that in the real world. Could there not be a 1-10 scale or similar? Those three choices come across as almost confrontational.

Also, a bit more user feedback: I have very high security settings on my browser but all the extra options (links, pictures and whatnot) all worked fine on previous Pasotis. Now, literally the only things that work above my posts are Toggle BB Code and Preview. I've tried disabling all sorts of browser settings but no luck - if I want to add so much as a smiley I have to use a different browser that doesn't have high secutiry settings. Not the end of the world, but if there's a simple fix that I've missed I'd appreciate a heads up!

I find the boxes on multi page threads are right at the bottom and I need to scroll down to reach them. It would be useful to have them at the top too.

Also, the link to the forum titles is quite small compared to the text size of the threads for me. Easily missed.

Turn your 'phone sideways to landscape mode. On mine the page numbers are then at the top. They are there in portrait mode, but don't show so easily. (I profess I only know because I tried it, I very rarely look at websites on my 'phone. Two 24" screens on the PC are much easier on 67 year old eyes)

I reckon going back to the old site now would look VERY odd. Totally used to the superior look and functionality of this one.

And to anyone that's not done yet, I'd recommend playing around with the 'toggle width' arrow at the bottom left of your screen.

I like that when you click on a thread it takes you directly to point that you had last read, even the correct page if longer than one page. I keep forgetting that you can comment on someone's comments but will get there lol.

I am impressed but I am not convinced that the search facility is as reliable as it was previously.
Is that a work in progress or is it as good as it gets.
As an example, I recall a discussion with Xmas Tree a couple of months ago about Cooper and Ramsdale but I couldn’t find it when searching for Ramsdale.
Edit. Found it. ‘A couple of months ago’ was January. Apologies!!

It seems faster and smoother and I like the font, seem to be more options eg the 'like' button, although I don't take much notice of them! Big improvement overall and I really like the colour.
