Swap Gillespie for Galloway and Jephcott for Hardie and you have our strongest XI to start the season.
Seems more competitive than the Swansea game and whilst we are holding our own we don't look like scoring.
Hardie has to come on to stretch them more.
Houghton is upgrade on Randell on far stronger.
Playing out from the back is not our strength

Houghton is very good, just what was needed, Conor better at LWB. I think Hardie would have more success than Jeffers against the big defenders.

I thought Gillesphey was caught off balance when they scored. We are still lacking composure in the final third. Not tested their keeper yet.

It's is most noticeable when the young lady is speaking to camera. During the game the commentator called the ball out of play before it went out. It's only slightly out though.

PS Grant far better than Law at LWB

I'm not too sure, Grant has a habit of not exploiting the space in front of him, he stops and looks to pass back or sideways and the momentum is lost whereas Law is more direct and has more pace.

Mayor is not having the best of games.
We're doing well against a Championship team.

Decent half, I am liking our solid look at the back. No idea why Jephcott is being criticised again he is looking sharp. Grant is way better at wingback than in midfield.

I am actually enjoying the half time fill in. Not sure of the ladies name but doing a good job. Argyle are looking more and more like a professional Championship outfit all the time. COYG
