In what way is it typical of an Argyle signing
We have had our fair share of injury prone players i dont need to list them all.
This guy hasn't even kicked a ball in anger and is already injured.
I know it can happen to anyone at anytime but this is just like Aimson

I wasn't aware James Bolton was/is an injury prone player , supposedly turned his ankle in training which as you say could happen to anyone at any time , nothing typical in reference to an Argyle signing. If he barely plays this season because of it , I'll have to accept that you must be right .

That’s because James Bolton is not injury prone. He’s played 313 times in his career and he’s 26. Players get injured, it happens. it’s just unfortunate that on this occasion it’s happened in pre-season.

Not sure what medical could have predicted a pre-season training accident. Maybe Argyle should employ a medium rather than a medical team.

Is it pick on James Bolton day- players get injured

So the next time one of our other players get injured are you going to slate them for getting injured & say we should never of signed them in the 1st place

It really grinds my gears that people are knit picking over the slightest thing

Do you have a crystal ball saying RL dont sign him because he oh heaven forbid he will get injured- if that was the case we would never sign anyone

Rant over

Having googled James Bolton injury record he has had a couple of periods out with an ankle injury, the last time in March.

It appears he played 3 full 90mins , was brought on for 31 mins in one game and was a non playing sub in another match out of the 6 Pompey played during that month , however he was subbed off in the 45th min of their match on the 16th Feb and returned to action on the 6th March, which means he was out for a maximum of 17 days due to an in game injury i assume . Apart from this the only mention i can see of an ankle injury for him is a 20 day lay off in August 2019 for a bruised ankle , doesn't imply injury prone to me .
