I chose to double jab, but if the fans have to do so, surely the players as well?
Argyle players (in general) have no excuses, they’ve got a vaccination centre on their doorstep!!!

Everyone should get double jabbed unless they have a valid medical reason not to - but many still haven't.

The more venues insisting on double jabbed for entry, the more pressure there will be for everyone to comply and help stem the rapid surge in infections.

For all we know people who have no interest in getting the vaccinations may try & forge documents saying they have been double jabbed- it is amazing what you can find on the internet

The government will need to provide us with forgery proof vaccine passports otherwise chaos and another Lockdown will be on the horizon!

The 'passport' is a QR code created by the NHS, I doubt whether that could be hacked.

People will bleat on about personal freedom of choice etc well that's fine but if they choose not to be double jabbed knowing that's a requirement then they choose to not attend.
You cant have your cake and eat it in a middle of a pandemic.
Obviously if you have a medical exemption that needs to be accounted for but these numpties with no consideration for anyone elses well fare should not be infecting us who comply as that's effecting our rights of protection

So how does this work , I had my 1st jab in England my 2nd jab in Scotland........both don't talk to each other as I can't get any proof at the moment of having the double jab. NHS England say I have had the 1st jab but also NHS Scotland think I have only had my 1st jab (Known as a Jag) up here but they can't work out 2 jabs = a double jab.
For the Euro final I had to produce a copy of a LFT negative result to gain entry to Wembley, won't be happy flying down for the Argyle matches and being turned away at the gate with my season ticket.

Sounds like you could get a third jab or jag so that whichever side of the border can issue you a double jab certificate on their app.

I would have thought the NHS app that has your vaccination details on would be hard to forge.
Fair point, but I wouldn't have thought all fans carry a mobile or even one equ

Agree, but even in these 'modern times' I doubt whether all football fans have a mobile. So a hard copy like our season tkt would be an option.

I suppose the biggest issue will be if you need to show your vaccine status on purchasing the ticket or on entering the ground.
In the first, a season ticket holder would only need to show vaccine status once and maybe vaccine status could be linked to your account the first time you buy a ticket so again not needing evidence each time.
The first scenario would have to mean severe penalties for passing on or selling tickets the second could cause long delays at the turnstile.

My son is serving in the RN, is double jabbed, but because he has no NHS GP can’t get onto the NHS App.
Are there any other Greens out there serving in the Forces that have the same issue?

I’m sure I read somewhere that if you have the batch details of the Jab, they can input them as a second jab?
