Is he injured, out of favour, or about to leave the club?

Not even amongst the endless substitutions last night...

It's not looking good for him, is it?

Seip and BWP were the only unused subs according to the official site.
Could both be on their way?

I doubt Seip will be. Reid has said he liked the way he played, and has done well at both centreback and fullback. Plus he has just had a baby, so I doubt anyone would expect him to up and move...

Reid has mentioned that we are still too top heavy on strikers though, with George Donnelly on loan that still leaves us:

Patterson
Mason
Maclean
Fallon
BWP
Liam Head

I doubt Head will break into the first team any time soon, may be an idea to ship him out to a League 2 or Conference National side for a few months to gain some experience. So Reid will have to decide if He thinks that with 6 still at home park (5 with any chance of playin) he has the right ammount, or whether he still has too many.

Since he hasn't trialed any strikers, you have to think he is happy with what he has got - for the time being. So I don't know. Is 4 strikers enough if we were to get rid of BWP? Patterson, Maclean, Mason, Fallon?

Head wont be on much at all really. He's like 17. Pretty much a Mason at the start at last season, except it is unlikely he will be given a miracle chance to break into the team as a last throw of a dice.

Reid said he has been really pleased with Fallon over the two 45 mins he has played so far.

Idk, tbh. Time will tell. I'd have liked to have seen a striker on trial, even if he was just there to scare the lazy boys into action.

But I really wouldn't mind if BWP went, he hasn't made any impression on me this pre-season. I don't mind a lazy striker, provided he can poach goals, which he has failed to do. It also annoys me when a striker tries to blame everyone else if a pass, cross or a throughball to him doesn't end in a goal.

I think he'll be gone. I don't think Reid will put up with 'lazy' players. Let's face it BWP only performs when he feels like it.

From what I could see, Plan B last night saw Bolasie and Noone come on to play attacking roles behind a lone striker... first this was Fallon, then Rory Patterson. Presumably Mason would have been involved in this system had he been fit.

Likewise BWP. Although he was fit, and an used sub.
That's quite some way down the pecking order for a talented forward on good wages. As IJN says, it's not looking good for him.... shame.

I agree, BWP just looks like it's all too much trouble for him.

Some of these footballers need to have a month in the real world.

After spending most of last season out injured BWP came back into the side and scored some goals. Unlike Mackie he didn't chase everything, but, he did get in the box and put away some chances. I think that at this level he will score goals given the service.

I also find it funny that nobody minds if Mason does nothing all match but pops up with the odd goal but it is not alright for BWP to do this. I say give him a chance after a full pre-season and see what he can do. If Reid doesn't fancy him and can get someone better then fair enough but to rely on the inexperienced Paterson and Mason to score goals and hope that Fallon and MacLean can do something that they have never managed for us and find the net seems like far too much of a gamble to me.

I'll go along with that as long as he scores the goals. I've only seen him for one half in pre-season games but he didn't try and impress the new manager while others were, if he keeps that up he'll struggle to get in the side, it's a shame because he should walk this division.

I think the problem with BWP is not a lack of effort, but more a fear of getting injured again that is stopping him busting a gut pre-season.
