Hello my fellow PASOTI chums.

I've just completed the first month of the 1 Million step challenge raising funds for Diabetes UK.

Those of you that know me well, will know that I've been type 2 diabetic since April 1996. Those people will also know that I've not necessarily lived a healthy lifestyle since then, but, following an appointment with my diabetic nurse on 24th Feb (the day after our match away at Yeovil) I've given up the alcohol, stepped up the exercise, and tried to eat as healthily as I can.

160 days later, I find myself almost 3 stone lighter than I was at Yeovil, and the Million step challenge is spurring me on to keep the exercise going and to see even more weight go.

If you'd like to support me in this challenge then my justgiving page is as follows:-

https:www.justgiving.com/Paul-Sweet2

Thank you PASOTI folks.

Oh dear, sorry about that Ian.
I'm a technological numpty i'm afraid when it comes to adding a link (like what Jerry did on his plea post, clever bugger that he is!)
I'll have a look on my just giving page and see if there's anything that can help.
Thanks for the thought though.

Yesterday, day 60 of the challenge, I passed the 1 million step target. With 32 days left to go. Celebrated by camping out in my back garden with my lad in our new tent!
Onto the next million, and a continuing upturn in my health.

Re the health thing.
Never have a pasty from St Austell AFC, unless you have plenty of toilet rolls ready at home.

The generosity of my Argyle mates astounds me sometimes.
One such mate at the weekend made my current fundraising total up to £700.
Chuffed to bits. :scarf:
