Sue, the Mods have moved this to here only for the day, I've asked that it returns when all the match day stickies are spent.

Thanks Ian, appreciate this.

14 people, so far, have chosen their time slots, with more on the list to confirm their preference.

A great response within just one week!

The 1 – 4am time slot of Saturday 25th April has now been filled.

Saturday should see more places confirmed … with recruiting still going on in the meantime.

There’s a couple of pasoti-ites in amongst this too :scarf: … thank you to all who have entered so far

4 more entrants today ... the list on page 1 is being updated each time a date / time slot has been taken and shows what places are still available.

Sponsor forms will hopefully be ready for collection on Saturday, with all money being raised for this event being added to the Pedal for Pounds chosen charities of: Prostate Cancer; Argyle Youth Academy; and Argyle Community Trust.

Thanks once again to all who have entered, so far ...

Is sponsoring someone the same ultimately as paying into Gary's pot? I'd rather give an individual some encouragement and another name on their list but I'm not sure how to do that from afar.

Google Ian Stonebridge at Just Giving, Mark, that should do it.

Another good shout, Ian, his Just Giving page has just been started up in the past few days.

Things move too quickly for me (in general these days :-))

The Ian Stonebridge page I found said "total reached", or it was an old page. Anyway, I donated to Liam McGuire instead, I guess it all goes the same way.

Mark – that’s brilliant news for contributing to Liam’s Just Giving page. All donations received will certainly add a lot of encouragement to those who are taking part in the actual cycle ride – especially those who have never taken part in something like this before.

Should anyone like to make a donation, here are a few more links to the McGuire family Just Giving pages and I think I am getting this right by saying Hannah (Ricky's Fiance) will be the only female entrant  :

As for the static bike event …

Some members of staff were approached last Saturday regarding this and so far the following people have accepted the alternative 'Pedal for Pounds' challenge:

Kevin Hodges and Dan Thompson from Youth Academy
Grant from Hospitality
Charlie and Rob McNichol from Media
Possibly James Brent and some Directors, as well …

Ian (IJN) doesn’t escape this challenge either  (who, incidentally, approached JB first of all to put him up for the challenge) and Chris Webb was also collared on Saturday, to take part in this too

Will hopefully get a chance to ask a few more members of staff during this weekend’s Home match and continue to fill up the remaining spaces elsewhere with supporters.

5 more places filled with Life Centre, Akkeron and groundsmen staff taking part in this.

An update email will be sent to all entrants during the next week and we're hoping to set up a Just Giving page soon for the static bike event (for all entrants to use / circulate) - with all money raised going to the Pedal for Pounds chosen charities.

The actual Pedal for Pounds event and the cyclists taking part in this, are the real heroes in all of this and all credit should go to them and the journey they’ll embark upon … and no doubt achieve. The static bike event on the other hand, whilst raising some extra funds towards the P4P’s chosen charities, is more so an event designed for ‘lending our support’ to the cyclists throughout their challenge, by making them feel as though they’re ‘not alone’ during their travels … that here, in Plymouth, we’re very much thinking of them as they make their way back to Home Park.

Daily contact will be made on the progress of the cyclists during the event.

There are 10 spaces still available if anyone would like to enter...
