I'm not entirely sure who the "back office management" are at HP now but I think I'm right in saying that we don't have a Ridsdale type character who actually knows all the nitty gritty of running a professional football club. And is able to kick some ar$e when needed.
There was talk of a recruitment agency being engaged to look for suitable candidates but it's all gone very quiet.

I spoke to Chris Webb last week about his overdue Presidents Progress. He apologiesed and said they were having problems tying the ERS down and be in a position to progress. He felt that we should hear within a week. I will get back into touch with him and ask for an update.
On your wider point the temporary (?) CEO is JBs FD from Saltrock, Martin Baker. I do not think he has any previous experience of professional football and is, I believe, an accountant.
I made the point last season when JB took over and others have made similar poiints, but, we have an inexperienced: Owner, Board, Manager and coaches, let alone many of the players, in terms of a profesional football club. The manager dispensed with JD and we lost Gordon Bennett, it is difficult to quantify that level of experience loss but particularly in terms of a club just coming out of Administration.
On a personal note, we completed the process of discussion with David Wheeler back in April when we had momentum. The supporters groups only met in July. To date we do not know when the ballot papers will be posted out (or if they will still), The process and timescale of voting/counting and declaring results. In general we do not know how the SGs will fill their space/s although I can tell you that PASTA will be favouring a candidate from the Northern Branch to fill the Exiles seat.
When I look around at some of the decisions taken since the end of last season, Id call them naive rather than plain bad, but I can only wonder what import the PASB could have put in to try to help an inexperienced team.
I still believe fully in the PASB ideal, but understand the "turn off" to many. We need some decisive action and hopefully Chris will have good news. If not, we ought to consider Plan B.
Now where have I heard of that before?

Edited to add
David, I have just heard back from Chris. He has sent the Presidents Progress to the club and it should be published online tomorrow.
I think it will progress the matter of the election substantially.
Hope that helps, Tony
