They may have known each other since childhood but they didn't look like friends! Ferguson sounded like a prick.

Nothing he said was incorrect. Good luck to them; they're a good footballing side.

Some truth in what he says but it comes across as very ungracious.

It does seem that DA's comment has been taken literally. To suggest the game plan was to allow them 3-4 really good chances before scoring with our one chance is ridiculous. If however, anyone from Doncaster had researched us properly they would see that today's game went the way of so many this season. Soak up pressure in the first half and once Derek has worked out their weakness we step up the attacks in the second. We even tried it against Liverpool away so it was no secret.

Hats off to DA who is showing that he can adapt during a game and by adapting he gets results. Hopefully, next year he can work out a plan as to how we can play on the front foot and go after teams more at home but he's far from the naive manager some would like us to believe.

We have secured more points when we gone ahead than any other Football League side which tells it's own story. We've also got one of the best away records since Derek came to us which tells another.

Really....Looked like long ball merchants to me. Yes we play on the counter and concede concession...that is the game plan. They had chances but we defended doggedly, Luke made two good saves and both Carey and Jervis had good chances.

Chances count for nothing, it's goals that count. Argyle got one and Donny got none.

Thanks for the lesson Einstein. The point is Ferguson's game plan opened us up a lot more than ours did theirs. It was a classic backs-to-the-walls away performance and we nicked it with a set piece. We got the win owing to some superb form from Super Luke. I don't think it's sour grapes from Fergie Jr to feel like they deserved more out of the game, but that's football. Ainsworth certainly had respect for our game plan.
