attacker too many. Should have recruited one extra centre mid and one extra striker
instead. Always easier in hindsight mind.

Form is absolutely fine, it's just not going our way at the moment. Plenty to suggest the tide will turn, just a case of getting behind our team and it'll come good.
We have very little creativity in the team. The balance between risk and reward in our starting line up and our game plan is biased towards playing safe. Opposition teams know that so it's very easy to keep us quiet. Taking calculated risks with more attack minded players isn't our priority. We're more of a stay solid and score from set pieces or counter attack goals. Our back line is also very slow, so if we do really come out, as in committing bodies forward. We're vulnerable to the counterattack. Filling the team with solid defence minded players and telling them to try and play just doesn't work very well. We need to get a couple of real ball player in there and unleash them to play.

Our objective this year is survival, NOT promotion, NOT the play-offs, just to survive our first year back in this division.
There are another 39 games to play and I expect us to lose more before we get to the end of the season.

Unfortunately it wasn't hindsight when we knew we were at least 1 striker short when we played Cardiff in the friendly. It has been since then he recruited the new keeper and Wylde instead.
