Yes it's sad that people will loose out, but seriously, at what stage did anyone really think that this would end up with a happy ending. Truro isn't even anything life the most affluent or populous region of Cornwall.

There wasn't any money on offer. It wasn't a sugar daddy project.
Truro were effectively using their own money which was lent back to them by Heaney having got hold of the freehold of their ground, mortgaged and then sold it on.
At a rough guess Truro's rise up the leagues cost 2M but they paid for it all themselves with their ground which was worth a lot more than that.
They will now return from whence they came minus a ground but at least any future club will hopefully be owned by a supporters trust.
