With our manager deciding one up front is the way to play. How many times will we be nil. I predict 20.

On another day Argyle could have won that 3-0, their keeper made some excellent saves, some Torquay fans have also said we looked more thretening than them, having 1 upfront wasn't a bad tactic today away to a promotion candidate.

Fletcher is by no means the finished managerial article but this thread shows just how much further off the finished managerial article some contributors to this site are. Away from home in a derby at a club who have got off to their best start to a season in decades who, lest we forget, gave us an utter spanking last season. What did people expect? Total-flipping-football?? Wave after wave of Argyle attack? Dream on or stick to your Fifa game.
There are still worries, like how Hourihane apparently still merits a place in the team but as long as CF learns his lesson from the last home game and starts the next home game with more than one up front I'm happy that there has been some progression.
I would have bitten the hands off anyone offering 0-0 before the game but apparently some posters thought that, with the attacking options available, Fletcher was supposed to have conjured a 5 - 0 drubbing today.

Facts here...

On another day we would have scored at least twice, probably three times. Willo's FK was well saved, Feeney's header was well saved. Conor blasted a chance from 10 yards right at the goalie.

We're getting there - the goals will come.

Or someone that just thrives on attention.

I work with a few Torquay fans and they were all predicting 3 -0 , 4 -0 score lines. I think 0 -0 wss a good result today against one of the better footballing sides in league 2. So lets get real,i think TQ. will see it as 2 points lost .

In Thailand that's not uncommon.
