I understand that other teams/managers have tried to persuade him to turn pro previously but without success. Then along came Carl Fletcher...

I think it was meant sardonicly :)

Great start for the lad though, always had the ability to make it at league level bur for One reason or another had decided not to take the step up until now, I think and said so when we signed him that he will be a very valuable asset for us this season and I can see him weighing in with a decent amount of goals. Let's hope that it was just a knock today and he was taken off purely as a precautionary measure.

Hopefully back next week. He was kept off as a precaution as he could feel a couple of "twinges" in his calf. Fletch reveals all on Argyle Player.

Paul Roberts makes a good and valid point. Trumptons body will take some time to adjust to full time training. Just the general wear and tear alone will take its toll at 32, let alone pushing it to new limits day in day out.

Well done the lad

Lets hope he is back for Torquay! :scarf:

We have already lost Bas and Paris! (Paris said on twitter he is hoping no more than 10 days)

He was differnt class today. I know it was an "easy" finish, but so was hourihanes in the first half. A class above what weve had up front for a long while

No, you need to stop and inject some perspective.

He did well, he showed promise but he didn't last a quarter of one game. Player of the season awards are not presented until 46 games are played.

Good lad, scores on debut

Can't ask for more than that and from comments on here it does not look too serious injury wise

He's very much Trigger-esque. Hopefully we won't bugger off to Torquay anytime soon though :)
