Grrr. That keeper is ridiculously good in penalty shoot outs, always has been. Credit where its due Argyle sounded excellent in the second half. Thought PCH should have taken one of the pens.

Watch out - another weakness to add to the list

Cannot defend

Cannot pass

Cannot retain possession

Cannot score in open play

the new one..........................Cannot score from 12 yards.

Where WILL it end ?

Keep the Faith :scarf:

BUT CF's post-match review will be.................."the positives are we scored from 2 penalties, one of whom was a defender" :funny:

Standard Argyle. Makes you wonder if we practice penalties, ever?

Proud of tonight's efforts though, just concerned that we'll be knackered for Saturday now.

I was 5% sure we'd win the shoot-out. I just cannot envisage any of our pen takers having the confidence to smash it in apart from Robbie. It's something we've been bad at for years. We aren't natural goal-scorers so to speak. Of course as soon as Williams missed the opening pen it went down to 0.5%.

Great that we performed really well for 120 minutes against a decent side (regardless of the so called reserve side they apparently put out I recognised at least 5 first team "potential" players.) Unfortunately long-term we might be done. They will be absolutely knackered and the last thing they will remember are the penalties.

Shouldn't be that knackered, they're kids and they should love playing....they should take confidence from the second half and take that into the league
