Surprised this has been allowed to stay.

JB was an investment banker.

JB was a reluctant bidder. :funny:

JB got the council to buy the ground back. :nworthy:

JB looks like Harry Potter for a very good reason and that is he can do magic.

Argyle will benefit in the long run but do not expect money to be pumped into a football club that will run at a loss and trust me it will run at a loss. JB will keep the clubs head above water and no more.

The football club as a business is a punt to nothing for him, the developments will be his reward.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that but as Argyle football fans get real.

We asked for a club that lives within it means and that is what we have got.

Enjoy the season.

all I can say to that is the same as I have said before. The alternative is Mr Brent. He specialises in purchasing businesses in trouble. he strips the business to the bone. he cuts costs, he makes redundancies and sells off parts of these businesses. that is how it works. We are a business in trouble and Mr Brent would do just what you are suggesting if he sees fit. this is my point, we are not in a position to be demanding anything, we are not in a position to call the shots and we are not in a position to with stand a call for a boycott of season ticket renewal. I hope you do continue to comment but please don't moan about the team......

Has JB carried out any of these actions?

Not yet but he has acquired some land..... Whilst he continues to refrain from strengthening the squad from last year his motives will remain in doubt. I still believe that the man is here to make money. If in 5 years he has achieved that by doing developments and then walks away having not taken us forward as a club then don't be surprised.

But will you be happy if in 5 years he walks away with a back pocket stuffed with notes having developed the land and not developed us as a club? I just feel that questions need to be asked as to his motives SHOULD it turn out we actually DON'T have a competitive budget... Getting long suffering supporters to part with their money on a false statement is surely Riddleresque??

JB will give us a new grandstand, this will generate non-match day income to help the club develop.

How do you know we don't have a competitive budget, have you seen the financial figures?

Your comments on this thread are disrespectful.

This is hitting a low point now. Everyone's slowly turning on the club.

What we need is a big fat boost of adrenaline.

Chris, give us a clue if ones imminent?

It is when you accuse someone of not being honest and making a false statement...

not to be a totally honest statement.

How are my comments disrespectful? I am entitled to my say! I have not made any false accusations, I have not said anything untrue. I am merely raising a point that I believe is an issue to be discussed. And IF you should read my comments in detail you will see I have highlighted the IFS and SHOULDS.

JB will not GIVE us a new grandstand either... Not unless he gets his pound of flesh.

Football fans want to have hope at least before the season starts.

That is what is causing the unrest.

Played two professional teams in pre season and lost 10-0.

Where the hell is the hope supposed to come from or be based on.

Don't question anything, its disrepectful to brent and the pasoti mafia.

Surley we should have learned from recent experience that it is essential for fans to question and pressure the board?
